सेवा एवं अनुष्ठान दर्शन

Ritual & Seva Darshan

Pair your darshan with a specific seva — Abhishekam, Archana, Rudrabhishek, Annadanam, Tula Bhara and more — performed in your name and gotra, with the priest's sankalp.

Worship with intent

Sevas you can pair with darshan

A seva turns darshan into participation. We arrange the ritual, the priest, your sankalp (name · gotra · nakshatra) and, where offered, a recording and prasad despatch.

Abhishekam

The ceremonial bathing of the deity with water, milk, curd, honey, ghee and panchamrit, accompanied by mantras. Especially powerful at Shiva temples (Rudrabhishek) and for Venkateswara, Hanuman and the Devi.

Archana

A personal puja in which the priest recites the deity's names (ashtottara / sahasranama) and your sankalp by name, gotra and nakshatra — the most common way to offer worship in your name.

Rudrabhishek

An elaborate Shiva abhishekam with the chanting of the Rudram, sought for health, peace and the removal of obstacles — a signature seva at the Jyotirlingas and Kashi Vishwanath.

Kalash / Kumbhabhishekam

Consecration and sanctified-water rituals, performed for new beginnings, homes and temple anniversaries.

Annadanam

The sacred offering of food to devotees and the needy — among the highest forms of seva. Sponsor a meal in your family's name at major temples.

Tula Bhara / Tulabharam

An offering equal to one's own weight (in grains, jaggery, sugar or other items), a cherished vow most associated with shrines like Tirumala and Guruvayur.

Vahana Seva

Darshan during the deity's procession on the temple's sacred vehicles (vahanas) — Garuda, Hanumantha, Sesha and more — during festivals like Brahmotsavam.

Sahasranama Archana

The recitation of a thousand names of the deity in your sankalp — a deeply meritorious archana offered at Devi and Vishnu temples.

Offer a seva with your darshan

Choose a ritual and we'll arrange the priest, sankalp and timing — and send prasad afterwards where the temple allows.

Frequently asked questions

Will the seva be performed in my name even if I'm not present?
Yes. Most archana and abhishekam sevas can be performed on your behalf with your sankalp (name, gotra, nakshatra). Many temples now provide a short recording, and prasad can be couriered.
What details do you need for a seva?
Your name, gotra (if known), nakshatra/rashi where relevant, the temple and deity, the seva, and your preferred date. We confirm availability with the temple and revert.
Can I sponsor Annadanam for a special occasion?
Absolutely — birthdays, anniversaries, shraddha and thanksgiving are common reasons. Tell us the temple and occasion and we'll arrange the offering in your family's name.
